Welcome to the home of Tri City Christian Home Educators
Welcome to Tri-City Christian Home Educators Homeschool Group! We are a homeschooling support group for Christian Home School families in Catawba County and the surrounding areas. Our purpose is to support, encourage, and learn from each other as we teach our children at home.
Our home school group began in January 2005. We hold two planning meetings yearly. One in the fall & the other in January or February, weather permitting. We meet at Tri-City Baptist Church in Conover, NC. For directions to Tri City Baptist Church, go to their web site at www.tcbc.org or call 828-465-6644. Enter at the office entrance by the fountain. All visitors & members are required to sign in upon entering the building.
Our Annual Fall Planning Meeting is scheduled for Monday night, Sept. 12, 2011, at Tri City Baptist Church in the Agape/Soaring Eagles classrooms. Each family is requested to bring a dessert and a drink to share for a dessert fellowship following the meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm, covering membership information, dues, & planning for the upcoming school year. During the meeting, there will be a movie for students 4 & up to watch in Birkhead Auditorium & a nursery for those 3 and under. We look forward to seeing you there!
